How do I know if an existing or future donated policy is eligible for
a Life Settlement?

Our organization has one or more existing donated policies that meet these criteria, what are the next steps?

A senior citizen has contacted our organization and will be donating their policy of $100,000 or more. We would like to have an appraisal for a Life Settlement before the policy is gifted, what is the process?

How do you educate Donors about this option?

Must the Donor donate 100% of the Life Settlement?

We are planning our fundraising initiatives and would like to introduce First Secured Life's nonprofit opportunity to our Donors. How will you help us to do this?

What are the tax consequences to the Donor?
The Donor tax benefits include:
•  Receive a tax deduction for the fair market value (selling price) of the life insurance policy instead of only the cash surrender value. The national average of a life settlement is 3.6 times the cash value of a policy.
•  Removal of a taxable asset from their estate if the policy was
individually held.
•  The premiums become unaffordable
